What’s the difference between the Performance Center and Mountain Strong’s Scholarship?

It is important to know that once you work with this part of our company you will be under the care of a licensed psychotherapist for your protocol and treatment decisions, and HIPAA.

You will also be unable to participate in any Amazing Brains Performance Centers events. This is per state regulations. Please consider this carefully before you move forward.

Who is the Mountain Strong scholarship for?

Brain performance therapy is for anyone in Eagle County who wants to enhance their life and performance. If your employer offers coverage through your EAP, or you have a financial barrier to mental health services, you can apply.

The process

1. Consultation:

We start by listening. Often people have already consulted many experts by the time they find us and are feeling frustrated. Through our initial consultation, we seek to understand your unique challenges, determine whether our services are a good fit, and answer any questions you have about the process.

2. History & Goal Setting:

Before we start, you’ll fill out an intake form followed up by a discussion with us about your symptoms and challenges as well as your personal goals and what you would like to achieve throughout your time here at Amazing Brains.

3. Brain Map & Review:

Every client starts by getting a brain map (qEEG) that will take a comprehensive picture of your brain waves and help create an individualized protocol to recondition your brain wave activity for improvement in symptoms and to help you reach your goals.

4. Regular Brain Training Sessions:

Once a treatment protocol is designed, we perform regular neuromodulation sessions using specialized computer equipment, an amplifier, and sensors placed on the scalp at your unique designated sites.

5. Retesting & Results:

After 10 sessions, we can do another brain map to see quantifiable results and discuss a new treatment plan if it is beneficial to continue.

Does brain training work for kids and families?

Yes! We can train the whole family and work with kids age 5 and older. Family training can benefit the entire family unit and promote more functional relationships.

Can I do brain training from home?

Yes, after 1 in person session, we have devices that you can use at home through our At Home training option.

With every Amazing Brains package, you get a personalized plan for your brain performance training based on your needs. You also have access to all of our resources, including an online course based on your package to enhance your training experience.
